Who We Are

Eatonville, Washington is a small town near the base of Mt. Rainier. The Eatonville Senior Surprise organization is a non-profit group run by adult volunteers to provide our high school seniors with a safe, alcohol and drug free, overnight event to help ensure the safety of our students prior to graduation day. Our goal is to keep all students safe and together as a group to celebrate their accomplishments.

The Senior Surprise event has been in place since 1978 and has significantly reduced senior high student accidents and fatalities that can occur the day before and night after graduation ceremonies. Our town is a close-knit community and wants to see our senior high school students enter adulthood safely.

We are a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization providing safe overnight activities for our senior high school graduating students the day and night before graduation to maintain a safe celebration. The group is run by a board of volunteers.

Hundreds of volunteer hours are put together to organize a safe overnight experience for our seniors. We are in need of the following items and hope your corporation can assist us.

We appreciate all types of donations:

  • Monetary donations are 100% applied to senior surprise night activities including but not limited to: transportation, venue entry tickets, food and drink, prizes, and more.
    • If any money is left over we donate to the Eatonville Dollars For Scholars scholarship program and the next year’s class.
  • Gift cards for prizes and utilized in our fundraising auction
  • Goods to be used for our fundraising auctions

Your help will assist our organization in providing our senior high school students, many of whom have not had an experience like this night, with this exciting event.
